PE Days
Monday and Wednesday
Swimming lessons to take place every Wednesday afternoon during Spring 1 and Spring 2.
Please come to school in your uniform and with your PE kit in a bag.

*Please note that the websites linked below are focused on the Key Stage 2 SATs assessments. Your child will not sit these assessments until they near the end of Year 6. However, the majority of the learning tested in the SATs papers will already be familiar to a Year 5 pupil as it will have been taught across Key Stage 2.*
The following website breaks down an area of Maths and Grammar each week to support pupils with revision. These resources are particularly helpful, easy to access and child-friendly (video form).

This resource may be helpful, as a parent, to see the types of questions that will be presented to your child in their SATs assessments.
It may also be used as a tool to identify any areas of learning where your child may benefit from additional revision.

Grammar
This booklet provides useful definitions and models of the grammar coverage in Key Stage 2, as well as examples of questions that children can answer about each domain that will be assessed during the end of Key Stage 2 SATs assessment.

Please keep in mind that there will be some mathematical learning on this test that a Year 5 pupil will not have yet covered.
