St. Peter's Catholic Primary School is situated in the Diocese of Hallam and is maintained by Doncaster LA. It is a Voluntary Aided School in which the Governing Body is responsible for admissions. It is guided in that responsibility by the requirements of law, by advice from the Diocesan Trustees, and its duty to the school, the Catholic community and the Common Good.

Diocesan School's Building Fund/Governor's Maintenance Fund:
As a Voluntary Aided School, we are responsibility for meeting 10% of all building repairs and improvements. The school's budget allocation from the LA does not finance this. Parents are therefore asked to make a voluntary contribution of £15.00 per pupil (£21.00 maximum per family) per year through Parent Pay in order to meet these costs.

Our school has been among the first to benefit from the DSBF, who met the 10% cost (approximately £50,000) of the new four-classroom Early Years' Block which opened in September 2000. The fund has also recently supported the complete replacement of all the cold water pipe work in the KS2 building in Summer 2013.
