KS2 gathered together to mark Holocaust Memorial Day. We learned about how Jewish people’s lives changed under the rule of the Nazi Party in Germany and the unfair laws they were forced to live by. We also learned about the Kindertransport and how some children were able to come to England for safety.

Finally, we reflected on our own actions and how we can stand up to unfairness in the world today. We linked our learning to our school values of kindness and belonging and spent time praying for all those whose lives were affected by the Holocaust.
