New Starters - Reception

If you are thinking of applying to St Peter's for a place for your child, please come and visit us. We would love to show you around our lovely school. We hold a series of open morning and afternoon sessions in November each year for parents wanting to apply for a Reception place for their child the following September. The dates will be published here when they have been confirmed.
We want to wish a very warm welcome to St Peter's Catholic Primary School for all the families who will be joining us in Reception in September 2024. This page is just for you and we hope you will find it really useful in helping you to find out all about our Early Years provision.
Nursery Visits
Transition visits will be booked for all Nursery providers. This will give your child the opportunity to meet their new class teacher, Mrs Brewster, before they start in September. Mrs Brewster will discuss your child's needs with their key practitioners when visiting their nursery setting to ensure that all children's needs can be met upon arrival into school. If Mrs Brewster has any individual concerns about your child, she will arrange an individual discussion with you to explore these further.
