St Peter's school enjoys close links with the Parishes St Peter-in Chains, Doncaster and St Paul's in Cantley. This includes exchange of newsletters, celebration of masses and liturgies, and support for the preparation of children preparing for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Communion. Our Parish Priests are regular visitors to school and are involved as Foundation Governors on the School Governing Body.

Liturgies in School Spring term

We celebrate feasts and special days in our liturgical calendar with liturgies or mass. In the spring term we began by having a mass with Fr. Bernard for the feast of the Epiphany.

As the season of Lent began Deacon Declan came into school to share with us and our community an Ash Wednesday service. We all made a promise of how we would try to show that we were being transformed in our journey through Lent.

Each week we have tried to raise money through fun ideas to help others as part of our alms giving mission.

In the last week of term we will  follow the journey of Jesus through the events of Holy Week with daily liturgies to remind us of what Easter is all about.
